ABOUT THE ARTIST

Laine Renfro

Local Bay Area artist, Laine Renfro, started pursuing fine art painting back in 2018 after graduating from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. Her paintings are inspired by the study and discovery of interesting plants and images. All of her work features human figures morphed with plants, as a play on words concept. Touching upon ideas of self-love, expression of self,  and finding inner peace. Her paintings are bold and striking with careful use of bright colors and skillful depiction. A driving force of her work is to find parallels with figures and plant life, to express the interconnected-ness of the world we live in.
