​From the moment I set my eyes on a photo of the royal purple banana tree’s bloom, I knew I had to create a painting in its likeness. The unique shape of the flower, the color of its fruit to the beauty of its large leaves. It would be an understatement to say I was obsessed.I wanted this work to depict the sheer beauty and awe of nature. Treating the person as if they were a true queen. I set out to have this painting embody strength, regal essence, and grandiose feeling about life and beauty.​
